We here at The Strategy Bridge are proud of the community of writers we’ve helped gather over the last few years, but we have much work left to do. All work is done by volunteers, and that will continue now that we are a 501(c)3 tax-exempt non-profit organization. Your tax deductible donations will go towards the development of our community and the education of its participants.

Consider pledging $1 to the community...every little bit helps defray the costs of supporting this thriving community!

Your generous contributions will be used to publish high quality content, as well as establish programs that support our guiding principles:

  1. Writing and strategy are communal affairs. We exist to develop a community of thinkers and writers who seek to improve the level of discussion in these areas.

  2. By creating this community, we will support the authorship of quality content in the areas of policy, strategy, and military affairs.

  3. By creating this community, we will also create networks of individuals that support current thinkers and practitioners, as well as support the development of future leaders in these areas.

  4. Forever in our sight should be the development of the next generation of thinkers and practitioners in the realm of strategy.

We appreciate your support!

Make a Required Minimum Distribution from your IRA:

RMD2.jpg

Under current law, when contributors to traditional Individual Retirement Accounts (IRA) reach 70.5 years of age, the Internal Revenue Service begins requiring minimum distributions from those accounts each calendar year. These required distributions are treated as earned income for that tax year, increasing the taxpayer’s Adjusted Gross Income.

A direct transfer of your Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) from your custodian to a qualified charity avoids increasing your taxable income for the year. As a 501(c)3 organization, our Foundation is a qualified recipient of your RMD.

More details on RMDs can be found at the IRS Website. All you’ll need is our mailing address to complete the process:
