dIGITAL COPYWRITER

The ongoing expansion and success of The Strategy Bridge means our need for volunteers continues to grow. TSB is looking for digital copywriters to join our Communications Team. New team members will promote TSB content from our journal, podcast, and new model mentoring gatherings to effectively engage with our international community of readers, writers, thinkers, listeners, and partners.

Successful candidates will display a strong interest in learning about digital publishing and content development for multiple platforms including Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn. Candidates should be creative, self-motivating, detail oriented, and demonstrate strong written communication skills.

Our mission is to develop a stronger community of thinkers and writers in strategy and national security, which includes the personal and professional development of each of our team members. As a member of the Communications Team, you’ll gain valuable experience in content management and publication, platform navigation and employment, and team integration. You’ll develop a professional network of highly skilled and intelligent thinkers and writers. Copywriters work directly with social media managers and the director of communications and regularly communicate across the entire Bridge Team. Past members of the communications team have gone on to work with think tanks, the U.S. Senate, academia, and lead military organizations. Most importantly, you’ll have an opportunity to participate in and shape the discussion on strategy, national security policy, and military affairs.

We will accept applications through Midnight EDT, August 20, 2021. We will interview select candidates the week of 30 August.

Please note that military experience is not required, nor will it be weighted for preference.

All work is conducted remotely and requires a computer with a reliable and secure internet connection. Duties include but are not limited to:

• Developing and publishing copy to social media platforms

• Deliberate planning and goal setting

• Application of a communications plan to social media content

• Development and protection of brand awareness and online reputation

• Generation of inbound traffic

• Cultivation of networks of contributors, readers, and donors
